You say that like it’s a joke, but there are FOUR women in my office who bought their stationary specifically because it was pink. Just because it’s a stereotype doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
The whole lylac thing i get – thats all cool and i know girls will get into that.. fair enough..
But if i was a girl, i would be insanely insulted by how dumbed down this add is with the “OMG” and the z instead of s.. i mean, seriously, how lame can you get?
Well, obviously, the girls are laughing in derision at the one holding the PSP, marking her as a social outcast for enjoying video games (with ponies in them).
You know, I see stuff like this and think that game companies don’t think much of female gamers. Then I look at the other crap they pull – EA’s ridiculous promo for Dante’s Inferno springs to mind – and I realise they don’t think much of male gamers either.
