Sony Says Girlz Play Too

OMG! And they use the letter “z” at the end of their words, rather wordz. The website also lists PSP games, er gamez, for girlz, we meant girls.

Those six games, gamez, are Patapon 2, LocoRoco 2, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Pangya, Hannah Montana and, wait for it, Petz.

If those fine titles don’t grab girlz attention, hey, look, pony!

Yes, because we all know girls would never buy a psp unless it was pink and had a pretty horse on it

You say that like it’s a joke, but there are FOUR women in my office who bought their stationary specifically because it was pink. Just because it’s a stereotype doesn’t mean it isn’t true.

The whole lylac thing i get – thats all cool and i know girls will get into that.. fair enough..

But if i was a girl, i would be insanely insulted by how dumbed down this add is with the “OMG” and the z instead of s.. i mean, seriously, how lame can you get?

Agreed. The colour might attract my GF towards getting it, but the rest of that advertisment would just scare her off

Well, obviously, the girls are laughing in derision at the one holding the PSP, marking her as a social outcast for enjoying video games (with ponies in them).

You know, I see stuff like this and think that game companies don’t think much of female gamers. Then I look at the other crap they pull – EA’s ridiculous promo for Dante’s Inferno springs to mind – and I realise they don’t think much of male gamers either.
