Did you wake up this morning and think to yourself, hmm, I wonder what games are being released this week?
Because we have this handy list right here. The most notable new release being Punch-Out!! – and about bloody time, too. PT Boats and Sacred 2 are also worth a mention, if you like your gaming a little more hardcore.
New releases for the w/c August 24:
Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout (Wii)
What Is It? More exergaming shenanigans for those who haven’t yet had their Wii Fit fill. Supports the balance board.
Should You Care? Apparently it comes with a free one-week trial membership at Gold’s Gym.
PT Boats: Knights of the Sea (PC)
What Is It? Naval warfare with, like, boats and submarines and stuff. More RTS than sim though.
Should You Care? I think you already know the answer.
Punch-Out!! (Wii)
What Is It? Much-delayed local release of Nintendo’s excellent NES boxing sim remake/update.
Should You Care? Just don’t forget it’s a JB Hi-Fi exclusive.
Sacred 2 (360, PS3)
What Is It? Third-person action-RPG based on the PC release of earlier this year.
Should You Care? Perfect for those who felt Fallout 3 didn’t have enough content.
Up (Wii, DS, PC, PS2)
What Is It? Platformer based on a Disney movie.
Should You Care? I very much doubt you will.

Not sure that Sacred 2 should be likened to Fallout 3 but ok… >_>
Its more like a diablo ripoff than an oblivion ripoff

I’m talking about the amount of content. It’s a massive game.

Funny you mention that as while Sacred definitely looks and plays like a Diablo clone (clicky-clicky), when I was playing the first one I felt like I was playing a game akin to the oblivion play style more than Diablo due to a larger emphasis on exploration.
Though, this is probably due to the use of a single large map rather than smaller sections. Just thought I would say that =)

More like “No, because the movie was delayed by several months to cash in on the September school holidays instead”. Money grubbing ****s.
