Today’s Punishment: 3 Minutes Of ColecoVision Smurf Gameplay

8:00AM August 3, 2009 | Owen Good

Even for its era, this was one of the all-time, mind-numbingly boringest video games ever developed. How boring? Walking into a fence could kill you.

That’s where I checked out, 0:17 seconds. How much can you take? I hear Smurfette’s naked at the end.

I remember this game! We’ve got a copy of it lying around somewhere. I’m pretty sure our ColecoVision still works, too.

Whoever’s playing this must really suck or dying deliberately to make the video boring… took him long enough to figure out the double jump mechanic

This was a compelling game at the time, the graphics still look pretty good and it was aimed at kids after all.

It may have been aimed at kids, but my father had real trouble timing the jumps.

Miner 2049er was the best game for Coleco. I wonder where that machine went…
