Oh that’s right. I just used Kotaku to further my own agenda. I wouldn’t begrudge you a vote for Toejam & Earl either. Hell, just vote for both on alternating days, see if we can’t pull off a tie.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Sega Genesis, we’re putting the power back in the fans’ hands and letting you determine the next title we’ll release on Xbox LIVE Arcade! Just pick from the Genesis classics below and cast your vote between August 14th and August 21st
Other titles being voted upon include The Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage, Shining Force, Golden Axe II, and Wonder Boy, none of which are anywhere near besting Jim and Toejam, currently dominating with 37 and 20 per cent of the vote respectively.

Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 9:11 AMIt’s Toejam & Earl that deserves the recognition here, especially given the fact that Earthworm Jim is multi-platform. Also due to the fact that TJ & E is the better videogame of the two.

Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 7:45 PMI wholeheartedly disagree. While Toejam & Earl is a great game, I’m personally more of a fan of Earthworm Jim. I’d love both to drop, but if I had to choose I’d go EWJ all the way.

Earthworm JIm was one of my most beloved games….I had mostly cheap second rate titles like Superstar Basket Ball and Arrow Flash on my Mega Drive, but I did have Earthworm Jim.
You cant beat an Earthworm in a Powerful Alien suit fighting through a Duodenum and Launching Cows into Space.
