It's got a great sense of humor and there's lots of potential - especially because the Maw and Splosion Man were so much fun. Hopefully it won't run out of steam the way explosion man did, but I've got my fingers crossed for this one.

Awesome. Twisted Pixel is definitely one of those star studios on the rise. Maw was great but 'Splosion man had pure back-to-basic's gameplay operating at its very best. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us, especially if this new game has more of a storyline than just a wacko exploding everywhere. Between this Trials, Shadow Complex and Shank, it looks like I'll be needing more point cards.

I thought it was clever until it did the whole "GAMEPLAY UNLIKE ANY OTHER" bits. That seemed tacky and forced and very much like they hadn't got too far with the game before announcing it so rather than let the footage do the talking they had Seth Rogen do the talking instead.

@MCX405: Well the star guy did comment on it saying something like "great writer" or whatever. I thought the trailer was well done. The part about having to register online was hilarious.

It's good to see Twisted Pixel is thriving and being experimental.

I sadly have not purchased the maw or splosion man, even though they are on my list of games to buy, but all i hear are great things about both those games. So i have much love for twisted pixel and im sure this game will be of high quality

@ReVivAL: I thought that it was good on the whole, but the hyperbole, whether tongue in cheek or not, made it feel kinda cheap. Still, for a reveal trailer it's one of the better ones.

dude.. i really dig twisted pixel.. this game looks awesome.. but i cant help but complain about some of their character designs.. i really didnt like how splosion man looked.. even though it was one of the coolest games ever, and i dont like the face of captain smiley. i get whats going on here, but it just aint appealing to me.

im only griping because i thought frank (from the maw) was one of the best character designs, and then splosion man was hit or miss. now a second time im feeling "eh" about the character.. still cant wait for this though.. these guys are on fire.

Either way, Twisted Pixel are great, but I didn't really laugh at the trailer except for the different comic styles (Jim Lee or perhaps Liefeld, Powerpuff Girls, Frank Miller, something I can't tell the specific origins of) and the star on his chest sounds like it's voiced by H. Jon Benjamin.

Spiritual successor to Comix Zone? Thankyou, Twisted Pixel.

I don't understand gamers sometimes. You can play forty-three first-person shooters, and go on about how they're all completely different.

But two games that may not play anything like each other (since nobody here knows anything about the new title) are judged equivalent because they both involve comic books.
