It appears to be the week of sports games, with a mix of actual sports, pseudo-sports, and Nazi-zombie-shooting sports. All up, it looks like a lot of gamers are moving about and breaking a sweat.
Question: WHY, DEAR GOD WHY!?
Perhaps there is still some mental scarring from year 9 PE that prevents me from appreciating the likes of Ashes Cricket 2009 and Grand Slam Tennis (note: there was a tennis ball, my face, blood, and braces involved – go figure). Oh well.

Yes, they are mass-produced, low-brow games, but the standard they are made to is -exceptionally- high (there’s a reason why they are unbeaten in the sports game category).

I was never interested in sports, and I defiently won’t be interested in these EA sports games either. I’d had expected big releases to atleast get to #1 for at least 5 minutes. Damn you Nintendo!
