Commodore 64, Now On iPhone

Manomio’s C64 emulator for the iPhone and iPod Touch – which was originally knocked back by Apple in June – has now been cleared for release.

It includes five “classic” games (though “classic” might be a bit of a stretch), those being Dragons Den, Le Mans, Jupiter Lander, Arctic Shipwreck and Jack Attack. What, no International Karate? Even though it’s in the demo video below? Hopefully that’s coming later.

    Ahh, the joys of owning a GP2X.

    C64, Amiga, SNES, GBA, in fact…

    …8bit -> 32bit.

    Awesome!

    The App has been pulled from the store by apple for some type of code problem it has been resubmitted and will apparently re-launch in the next few days :(

    Was pulled because they didn’t take out the ability to use BASIC I beleive – Violating Apple’s stupid “apps can’t execute code within themselves” rule (or to that effect).
