First Look At Studio Ghibli, Level-5 DS Game Screens

Next Spring, Professor Layton developer Level-5 is releasing Ni no Kuni: The Another World. The DS and still-unannounced-console-platform title is a single player role-playing-game that features the art and animation of Studio Ghibli.

Studio Ghibli is, of course, known for animated features like My Neighbour Totoro and Kiki’s Delivery Service.

While screens of the animated cutscenes have been released before, the in-game screens are new. Check out the character art as well.

    A young boy or girl, who has recently been befallen in tragedy, will, with the aid of a friendly mythical creature, have a magical adventure, overthrow a dark shadow and learn to BELIEVE IN HIM SELF

    PS: All of these pics look cool, except that thing with he lamp on it’s nose looks HORRENDOUS. It looks like it’s going to be your sidekick for the whole game, which sucks
