First Look At The Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation 3

Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase has, at a Tokyo Game Show press conference earlier today, unveiled the previously-announced special, FFXIII-themed limited edition of the PlayStation 3.

The FFXIII PS3 will be pink and white, carries a “Lightning” theme and will be a 250GB model of the console. It’ll be out on December 17 in Japan.

      Even if it’s as “bad” as FF12, I do want it.

        I think people either loved or hated 12. I’m in the hated camp, but that’s because the combat system was incompatible with my brain. I do prefer turn-based, and always will. But I respect that it is a great game and lovely for the series.

        That said, I love this console and would buy it. I don’t have a PS3 yet, and the fact that it is /matte/ is a huge point for me. I don’t get the fascination with gloss. It pulls fingerprints and dust like nothing. ><

    Personally i think it looks pretty sleek. Might just trade in my 40gb Phat if it gets released in Australia lol…

    As tacky as it was, nothing beats the 40gb Ry ga Gotoku 3 PS3.

    Is this being released in Australia does any one know? Cause I plan to get a PS3 before FFXIII is released (seeing as it is 20G bigger than 360 version) and thinking I might get this bundle if I can. Will only have about $500 to spend though.

      The only FFXIII bundle in Australia is the Xbox 360.
