Is Frank West In Tatsunoko VS. Capcom?

Frank West would be an interesting character for a fighting game.

For this game though, I personally think the original Zero would fit in better plus he'd probably more widely known in his MMX form as opposed to his MMZ form.

Damn gonna have to rebuy this for the American version. Especially with these added characters always felt the roster needed just a few more to round it out. And for americans some more recognizable faces on the tatsunoko side. Really how Mega Man zero is true I never really like the mega man from legends, something is just not cool or fun in his character design.

Also the biggest thing they need to change is the final boss. Its a great game but the final boss is terrible, it's not like even fighting any of the other fighters, it's just fucking stupid.

Yeah, I can see that happening. If anything, maybe zombies will be involved in one of his super moves; maybe his opponent gets swarmed by zombies and Frank hops back and snaps a bunch of pictures of it.

@rubentavares: It is. Capcom went through both the European and North American licensors when preparing for UAS's release.

@Archaotic: Maybe they'll have a move similar to Jill Valentine's in MVC2 where he makes zombies stumble across the stage to attack his opponent.

Otherwise, I bet they'll just have him swing and throw random items that were accessible in Dead Rising as well as his actual fighting moves.

Love how people jump to conclusions. They just very well may be Zero from Mega Man, Frank West, and Condor Joe. However, there's no real evidence either way. I'm waiting for something more solid.

I agree. I too heard that the reason for Phoenix Wright not being in the game is because Igiari is 4 characters and objection is 10 lettas, which would make the move unbalanced; for those who don't know, the word would be used as an attack with one char doing 1 damage

Even so, I think if they went with Objection being in syllables and addin a ! as the fourth char, it would work

@ggodo, the man from R.O.A.C.H.: Yeah, there's an arm part in it. You can either get it ahead of time, or in the middle of the first Sigma stage, after "beating" the miniboss.

(PS: Homing T works well for the miniboss.)

viewtiful joe was a console-exclusive character for the japanese wii release. he'll be in the domestic version, too.

Or, he snaps your picture, throws it into a group of zombies, and then they proceed to eat you good.

He just doesn't suit the style of the game at ALL. I am not impressed.

actually that'd be a cool mode :o a horde of zombies SLOWLY comes from both sides of the screen and whenever you get knocked into them you take damage and the longer you all fight the smaller the fighting space gets :P

As far as Gene goes, it's a missed opportunity, sure, but I see no need to get so worked up about it. There's always sequels, which usually seem to happen with Capcom-made crossovers.

I was extremely disappoint when I found out yesterday. Zero has already been in a fighting game, and we already have Megaman characters and Frank West just doesn't make any god damn sense. Come on, Capcom. It should have been someone like Dante or Gene. Represent a series that actually stars fighters and isn't in TvC yet.

@everyone: ... Um... I was sort of hoping for Mega Man Zero. I suppose regular Zero would probably fit better, but I still want Mega Man Zero. I prefer the less-bulky look, plus the animation style of the games is gorgeous. Some of my favorite game art.
