Developers Infinity Ward have said there are “no [plans]for a Demo before launch”, because “the entire team is focused on polish all the way up to ship of the full game”.
Which is PR speak for “we know you’re all going to buy the game anyway, so we’re not even going to bother.”

More like we know it’s the same old shit, but we won’t release a demo so people may take the bait.

but if it works, it works right, and like it or not, many of us will still buy the game.

And to think people were actually expecting a demo. LOL – thats pretty laughable.
It’s like asking if their was going to be a Halo 3 demo!

CoD4:MW had a demo? I never even knew :P Since everyone *should* know what MW2 is like, especially from all the gameplay footage, leaked or legit, that could be a reason why there’s no demo. Hell, demo or not, there’s going to b quite a lot of people buying it regardless.

I would just be so pissed off if Modern Warfare 2 ends up being complete shit, especially after paying £40 for it :@

Considerng it looks like copypasta of the previous game, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. As long as you didn’t expect anything new and creative of course…

FPSs rarely innovate, so it is unfair to single out IW for lack creativity. There are millions of people who simply want a shiny new Modern Warfare. Which is no doubt what they’ll receive.

To think people are actually questioning anything new from MW2. I am looking forward to this game, its definitely in my Top 3 for games coming out between now and Xmas (Borderlands, MW2, Assassin’s) already got ODST so yah… BUT… it’s still a Call of Duty game.
All the same shit. Fun. But same shit, different smell. The only innovative things that come from COD series is the things that have nothing to do with gameplay or campaign or anything like that. IE: Nazi Zombies or Online stuff. Otherwise, it’s just a different coat of paint and new voice actors.
