Can you guess this old game from just one screenshot?
I’ll update this post with the answer at 5pm today if no one has guessed before then. Or if you do guess it before then, feel free to share your memories of a classic game.
I’ve totally played this but can’t for the life of me remember the name of it. I do remember that as a kid I had absolutely no idea how to play it properly. I’m pretty sure it was on the 386 or 486…don’t think it was C64…
That would have to be Carrier Command, wouldn’t it? My only memories of this game were of my friends being very into this on the Amiga, and me just wanting them to play ‘that’ Max Headroom demo again (you know the one ;))… when I think about it, me and my short attention span are really lucky consoles came along!
Hooray! Carrier Command! Man I loved this game, there is a remake supposedly coming, and there were a few fan remakes that looked great but I don’t think they were ever finished. There was nothing like having multiple mantas in the air and the little amphibious vehicles running onto the island with a virus bomb or a command station. I used to love fitting a manta with the long range thingo and send it off looking for the other carrier. I would buy a remake in a second.

Isn’t there supposed to be a remake in production?
