Can you guess this old game from just one screenshot?
I’ll update this post with the answer at 5pm today if no one has guessed before then. Or if you do guess it before then, feel free to share your memories of a classic game.
Time to play the “so far out of left field game” again: Mechwarrior – Green Skies.
Hmmm, that’s probably the best I can do. Best save this sort of thing for the really good occassions (such as “George Michael and the Enchanted Forest” (whoever wrote that originally, I got a laugh out of it)).
From style of graphics, I’d say PC rather than Amiga. The targeting reticule and radar make me think of the old BattleZone, so maybe some kind of remake/clone?
It is Stellar 7, can pick that game a mile away (on a big big screen) and if its not it sure looks a hell of a lot like it! Ahh the days on playing this on my 386! or maybe it was my Pentium 2…. sure it was the 386 though. Awesome game for anyone wanting to play a retro game.

Friday, September 25, 2009 at 10:26 AMThis is certainly Stellar 7, possibly the DOS version, since MobyGames has the same screenshot in better quality.
