As the headline says, that exact date is February 23. To celebrate, Ubi released the video below, which I like, because it features the lost art of shooting another man in the hands.

Friday, September 25, 2009 at 1:04 PMWICKED! Even better than March! WOW cannot wait.. well i can cause we have been waiting some time now! BUT WOW.
Believe it or not, last night i was deleting stuff from my HDD and noticed some default videos and one was a preview of games available or coming soon to the Xbox 360. And during this video it showed games like Bioshock, Assassin’s, Madden… and then up come Splinter Cell: Conviction.
I remember the demo that they were using. Sam was walking around outside, he had long hair and a beard and using the crowd to interact. It has come a LONG way from that demo! He moves so differently to that demo & everything. Oh and he got a haircut too yea…
I mean, is Conviction anything like they said it was going to be when it was first announced? Do you use the crowd or anything like that to interact with the environment and disguise yourself like in Assassin’s Creed?? Can’t wait to find out… That vid i watched just PROVES how long/delayed Conviction has become.
