The Secret World: Which Side Are You On?

This game is looking really good so far... I even like the concept art and normally I don't care about that sort of stuff.

Definitely keeping my eyes on this one. Look forward to in game shots and info on the mechanics.

This is the first that I have really seen of this.

I like the art design and style they are going with.

I've been following this game for more than 2 years and the ARGs and puzzles the developers have trickled out have been pretty interesting. A decent and interesting back story is something I feel has been lacking for any MMOs that aren't based on existing IPs. I'm getting "slightly" tired of the standard Fantasy/Sci-Fi romp.

Also, Templars will prevail.

So I don't get it.
They all fight the evil? in that case who's the evil?

This has the potential to bomb. I see a future where you got about 200 strong on one side, all staring at each other with no intent on giving away their secrets, just making it a painfully headache inducing game.

Well I like the look. I thought the second trailer in particular - pre-rendered though it was - looked amazing. Of course, all judgement is reserved until I see something of the actual GAME. =/

'kay, the test says I'm a Dragon. After reading the 3 descriptions, I'm quite happy with the outcome. :)

I'm usually not into online games, but the trailers, artworks and previews have me interested (which is a first for me when it comes to MMOs).

I like the tone and premise, and I love the fact that, according to the devs, it's not based on the usual grinding and looting (a major turn-off for me) and it's supposed to have a strong story (former Longest Journey and Dreamfall devs? you have my attention!).

But for now, it's just promises, so I'll stay on the side of "cautious interest". Especially in the absence of any kind of gameplay details.

Illuminati all the way. Ever since I read Angels and Demons, Illuminati has been my favourite secret organisation. The quiz also placed me in the Illuminati camp :D

This actually might turn me onto MMORPGs.

The quiz is actaully pretty cool. And I'm happy because I'm a Dragon.

The game looks interesting. I think there may be such a thing as teasing a product too much though.....it would be nice to have a vague idea of that kind of game this is. Is it an MMO? An offline single-player RPG? A third-person action game like God of War or Ninja Gaiden? An FPS? A fighting game? What is it? I'm interested, but until I know the genre I'm not really interested enough to think about buying it. They need to toss out a bone and at least say the genre.

I need to see more information on how the game will operate, but the general premise looks very nice.

Oh man... That's a REALLY tough choice for me.

My initial thought is to go Illuminati, because it appears to be ranged. But then the Templars have dualsies, and the Dragon have both a sword and a gun... Its like all 3 of my favorite arsenal types, splitted up.

(I have no idea what this game is going to be like, I'm just judging from the character models what class is what. I seriously doubt one faction will be assigned a particular weapon loadout. I could be wrong though.)

Typical. Once again a game that seems interesting based on what's been shown. But - aha! It's an MMO -> instant loss of interest.

@ESREVE12: Since it is an MMO and faction based it is likely that they will all have the same class options. The token/iconic weapon choices represented in that picture shouldn't mean much.

Colour me a deep mottled sceptical.

All of these MMO's (Champions, SW:OR, This one, AION, ect) are coming out and they all seem awesome. The only problem is... well they are MMO's. You can't really play multiple MMO's unless you have money and a lot of time. This game has intrigued me since I saw the first trailer though. So many choices. Thank god there is so much time.

Yeah they get you to do the quiz there at PAX and then they hand you a button for whatever faction you get

anybody else notice the countdown timer running in the strange icons?

the symbols translate pretty closely to 0-9, but 6 is actually 7, 4 is 5, 8 is 4 and most of the squiggles can be infered from there.

the count down says 1201(don't know what this one is reffering to) (hours) (mins) (seconds (100th of a second)

I would say the first number is days, but a 1201 day count down is close to 3 years, and thats redonkulous for a hype-timer.

So you'll be able to tell who's what based on what color they are? Seems simple enough to me. Kind of reminds me of that POX handheld thing from so many years ago.

Game has a ton of potential. Lets hope this a game that creates a new style rather then the only rehash.

Does anyone else get World of Darkness vibes here? These three organizations could pass for tier three conspiracies in a Hunter: The Vigil game. Hell, I showed the first trailer to my friend and he said "is that girl an Adamantine Arrow mage?"
