I am confused by this picture. Was the cosplayer

1) Nearby taking pictures, but then did the beefy man-splits just for Stephen because he was there, and sure, wanted a picture too? or

2) doing the beefy man-splits by Stephen in order to take pictures with others, in clear violation of the Geneva Conventions' clear ruling that only uniformed cosplayers may be subjected to aggressive cosplay posing tactics without prior consent, and then offered to let Stephen have a picture taken, to hush him up?

@kajillion: What's funny... I didn't even notice he was black until you pointed it out. I guess it's because Akuma is kind of dark skinned to begin with.

There's also the fact I have a black friend who cosplays as things like Vash the Stampede, so I guess this is par for the course with me.

I think the guy is awesome and all of that, but he needs to pick some black characters to cosplay as. With all due respect proper skin color is essential to a successful cosplay. (And by successful I mean resembling the character in even the slightest.) I put this right up their with really fat people dressing up as skinny characters. Or asians dressing up as characters that are obviously supposed to be anglosaxon.

I mean you don't see white guys dressing up as Balrog and DeeJay. And if you DO by all means post pics!
