It’s a games-free weekend for me. At least, that’s the plan anyway.
Every now and then it’s good to take a break, to recharge those gaming batteries and rekindle any flagging interest. So, yes, this weekend I don’t plan to play a single video game.
I made up for it by playing Halo 3: ODST’s campaign all day Friday though.
How about you? What’s on your gaming agenda this weekend?

Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 12:16 PMGetting through BioShock. Can’t help walking around exploring and scavenge for loot, so it’s taking much longer than it should. Nice.
Bit of CoD4 MP too.
And maybe, if my pings are able, some Battlefield Heros.
Still temped to buy Trails HD…

Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1:06 PMChampions Online (hit lvl20 last night), and Darkest of Days (fantastically good fun, all the reviews for it seem to miss the point of that whole “fun” thing, instead bagging it out for not being a multi-million dollar title like Call of Duty).

Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 3:19 PMThe WipEout HD dynamic theme that got released the other day inspired me to finally get the Fury expansion, so I’m getting back into that game in a big way. I regret my long absence from it: this is one amazing game.

Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 7:50 PMOkay David, you officially suck! Fair enough not playing for the weekend, it is good to take an occasional break.
BUT teasing us with your “Halo 3 ODST Campaign play through all day friday” is not cool dude.
Shame on you!

Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 2:30 AMDave & fellow readers..
Thought i’d share a bargin. Harvery Norman have the Xbox 360 Elite on sale. $429 which if i’m corrected is the RRP of the console itself. You get Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST with it. SO basically those two for free. I understand ODST comes for free with every Elite for a limited time when it launches, but you’re also getting Halo 3 for no extra cost pretty much.
You can go buy it now the catalogue states, which means retailers have the (new) Elites in stock already. And just says to pick up ODST on its release from the store. Looking at the catalogue, it lists it comes with a HDMI cable. So if you’re after an Elite but disappointed about no HDMI cable, mention that it is listed in the catalogue and well, you score a HDMI cable due to bad advertising.
Thought i’d share that with you all!
