After last week’s monkey business, Junglist is well on time with this week’s episode preview.
Here it is.
…
Any moment now…
Here’s what you can expect on tonight’s Good Game:
Halo 3: ODST – There’s no Master Chief to help you fight the Covenant in these Earthbound battles that take place between Halo 2 and 3.
Guitar Hero 5 – Another wicked tracklist with a focus on party play.
The Beatles: Rock Band – Is the Fab Four’s music destined to dominate, whatever the medium?
Mini Ninjas – A polished, Pixar-like kids game where your vertically challenged ninja controls the forces of nature.
Plus we answer more of your questions, and Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario, stops by!
See Good Game Monday nights on ABC2 @ 8:30pm, or late Friday nights on ABC1, just before rage.

Monday, September 21, 2009 at 5:46 PMhmm, i usually watch good game every week, but this week all games being reviewed are very, very uninteresting.
HALO 3 ODST: Looks alright, but is basically Halo 3.5
Guitar Hero 5: Another shameless milking of the activision cash cow
The Beatles: Rock Band: The game that can never get ANY negative criticism EVER because the Beatles! The Beatles! Yeah!!! Everyone loves the Beatles!
Mini Ninjas: This is the only one that seems mildly interesting, i always assumed it was just another piece of shovel ware

Monday, September 21, 2009 at 7:59 PMBut they do it all with such enthusiasm and humor, it doesn’t really matter what they’re reviewing – it’s always well worth supporting.

Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 12:39 AMhah, glad i did.
Good to see them rip into ODST for being too short, it’s really disheartening to see most developers these days try to jam games into a 4-6 hour playtime.
Where have the epic singleplayer FPS’s such as Half Life 2, Quake 2, and Doom 3 gone?

Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 1:02 PMAlways a good watch. I was surprised they didn’t focus more on Firefight. I know it’s just another horde mode, but it seems like the major selling angle of the game – heck L4D built a whole (awesome) game around it. Looking forward to Rage though :)

Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 9:10 PMThey were a bit unfair to ODST.
I mean, the only mention Firefight got was “Firefight is fun.”, and then two sentences explaining it. Come on!
