Research firm EEDAR have compared 2008′s review scores for all three consoles to 2009′s scores, and found that while the PS3 and 360 have remained largely steady, there’s been a marked improvement in the average review score for Wii games, rising from 60 per cent in 2008 to 66 per cent in 2009.
You, I and 100 other people could have 102 opinions on just why that is, but does the why really matter when the result is so clear? Wii games are getting better—accept it, be thankful.

Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 9:24 PMWell considering Nitendo’s E3 2008 hardcore game was animal crossing, it is pretty easy to improve on review score.
The fact that SEGA has released a number of hardcore titles probably contributed to this.

Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 9:43 PMI am quite pleased to hear that, and frankly with all the quality games that are going to come out soon (Both Marios, Metroid: Other M, Murasama the Demon Blade, Monster Hunter 3 (for Westerners, at least), No More Heroes 2, perhaps Redsteel 2, Sin and Punishment 2, Crystal Bearers, whenever that’s coming out…

Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 11:12 PMThose statistics are so misleading. It looks like the average of reviewed games for the Wii have doubled from last year but in fact have only risen by 6% =\
