Aussie Charts: How’d That New Halo Do?

Halo 3 was a monstrous success for Microsoft. But the release of ODST seemed quite muted in comparison. Let’s find out how it fared in its first week on sale.

Quite well, it seems. Although we haven’t seen press releases declaring it the greatest ever launch of anything ever, as we did with its predecessor, ODST did sell well enough to take top spot on the charts. And 7th spot, too, for the limited edition controller bundle.

Elsewhere, all the recent music games have dropped right out, replaced by a charismatic collection of logic puzzles and a Korean MMO.
