Black Wii Remote And Nunchuk Priced

Black versions of the Wii remote and nunchuk will go on sale on November 16, Nintendo announced this morning.

The new black remote controller will be available with a black Wii MotionPlus add-on for $US50. The black nunchuk will sell separately for $US20.

“The Wii Remote revolutionized not only how people play games, but also who plays them,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “The new colour lets people customise their setup, and the controllers make great stocking stuffers for players of any age.”

This is almost like a kick in the gut from the Americans… why must they do that?!? Worldwide release or a Japan then Rest of the World release would be a better idea…
