Facebook, Twitter Launch Nov. 17 On UK Xbox Live

This splash page on Xbox Live’s U.K. portal says its Twitter and Facebook service will launch on Nov. 17. We assume that includes the Last.FM update as well.

Crecente got a look at Facebook on Xbox Live at Tokyo Game Show. A firmware update preparing the Xbox Live dashboard for the three services went out at the end of September.

    Why do it a week after MW2 is released?! Can’t they do it week before?!

    It’s a risky move considering XBL is going to congested with MW2 traffic and last thing players want is for a firmware update to screw up the box during this time…

      They’ve probably done it combat cheating too. After a week, a lot of people would have started to cheat on MW2 and a firmware update will almost fix that for the time being…
