Sony hit up God of War fans with a pre-order solicit today, promising a remastered God of War I and II on a single disc for PS3 next month, plus a demo code for God of War III, due next year.
The God of War Collection, which hits North American retail in November, promises high definition resolution at 60 frames per second. Each copy includes a voucher to redeem the God of War III demo. The compilation is $US36.99.
Here is the trailer announcing the Collection disc.

Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:58 PMnice, i wouldnt see why the release here should be anywhere too far off the NA release but who knows, id expect the price to be around $50 which is really good as its got 2 games on one disc and trophy support

Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 12:38 AMShould I feel bad that I’m being rewarded for not playing God of War on PS2?

Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 9:09 AMI don’t suppose there is any mention of this being released in Australia? On our EB Games coming soon list there has been no mention, which means nothing is *official*, but…
Customers certainly get excited when I mention the possibility :P

Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 1:24 PMHey Aaron, the coming soon list will not show it up because it is not being released in AUS. yet.
you will have to tell your customers that they will either have to import it or play the waiting game.
Just tell them that we ‘might’ get copies prior to GOW3′s release, but their guess is as good as yours.
i want it.

Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 1:35 PMI’ll just be importing anyway. With the dollar the way it is it’ll be a lot cheaper, and you can be pretty sure there won’t be any DLC for it :P

Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 6:07 PMGet it from the states.
Who waits for Aus anymore?
No time for 2 month later releases here.
Just so they can rate and whinge about it.
Import ahoy
