Does anyoen know if its necessary to have GTA4 to play liberty city episodes? Like, if I buy the disc from retail I mean.
I’m positive you don’t need a copy of GTA IV to play Episodes. It acts as a standalone product. However, although you’ll be playing in Liberty City you won’t have access to playing as Niko, the main character in GTA IV.
No, If you buy the disk you do not need GTAIV but if you download it you do.
