Japan Snaps Up A Lot More Pokemon Heart & Soul

Nintendo shows this week’s Japanese software chart its Pokemons, once again proudly displaying them atop Media Create’s list of bestselling video games overseas. It’s nearest competitor? Once again, Wii Fit Plus.

The only new video game release that came close to threatening Nintendo’s software domination this week was Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. The Nintendo DS role-playing managed a third place debut, beating out less impressive placements from RPG peers Blue Dragon: Ikai no Kyoujuu and the White Knight Chronicles EX Edition re-release.

Not much activity elsewhere in the charts, as Wii, DS and PSP games continue to outsell other platforms.
