Someone at Namco Bandai may have left a key fact off the brief for these Tekken 6 “viral” ad spots. There’s not a single boxing kangaroo or a man with perfectly coiffed hair fighting shirtless in a leather jacket.

Grossly inaccurate though they may be, these “What will you fight for?” teasers for Tekken 6—embedded just after this—are about as classy as video game commercials often get. Sure, there’s not a single frame of gameplay footage, but isn’t that where the “viral” comes in? Maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m too forgiving when secretaries in translucent puffy blouses and glasses are part of the equation.
