Game Informer, as part of their epic Epic Mickey coverage, reconfirm that the game is a Wii “exclusive”. Given that the game appears to feature a mechanic that’s reliant on motion control, rumoured to let Mickey Mouse paint and erase the environment, how could it possibly come to anything else?

Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:20 AMAdmittedly I’m late to the discussion of this game, but that “painting” sounds strikingly like Okami, which worked well on both Wii and Ps2 where it was originally released. Maybe I’ve missed very subtle sarcasm in this post…

Well, by holding it back a while til Natal & the Sphere are on the market?

Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:19 PMAlthough I thought Okami worked very well on the PS2, there’s no indication at all that the game will use a similar system.
As for Natal and The Wand, all three are very different pieces of hardware. It wouldn’t just be a case of porting the game between the systems. Plus, it’ll be good to get a solid release on the Wii.

Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:36 PMWell, the game sounds cool, but it’s Wii exclusive, so…..
Banish it from news entirely. I’m no longer interested in any way.

Friday, October 9, 2009 at 8:52 PMI know, I know, but it was meant to make a point about console exclusivity limiting potential audiences… It’s being stifled there on Wii, when it could be on other stuff and be played by other people, too! Let’s just release everything on PC. It’s the easiest way to do it!
