Some games are big sellers. Some games do okay. Some do horrible. And then, there’s cat game Sukeban Shacho Rena Wii

There was an event for the game at the Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara over the weekend. It featured demo play, a tournament and a dearth of players?

There have been rumours swirling around the internet that 100 copies of the game were sold — haven’t seen official numbers, but the game isn’t in the sales top fifty.

But all wasn’t lost! Some sites are reporting that the actual event packed in some people, that the early pics unfairly represented the event. There is an audience for cat mini-games on the Nintendo Wii. Everything is just fine.

What can I say, people like cats.
