Curious to see which games will support the latest in PC graphics wizardry, DirectX 11? There’s no better place to look than this list provided by AMD.
Most are games (including Battlefield: Bad Company 2), but as you can see, a few towards the end are just for engines, meaning we can expect future games – whatever they may be from DICE or anyone using the Trinigy engine – to support the new tech.

How about some DX11 only games. That’s what I’m waiting to see. None of this hybrid shit with tacked on features, go for the full package, and if you don’t have Win7 or Vista stiff shit.
Probably a bad marketing decision.

You’d see mac/linux ports before you’d see anything that stupid.

its not stupid… halo 2 was vista only (unless hacked)… so why wouldn’t someone do a dx11 only game?

Amen. At the very least dx9 really does need to die now, hell the only reason dx10 didnt take off was due to the bad press around Vista. We’re now 2 generations of technology ahead, get with the times and pony up the cash for a new OS.
Every man and his dog has a DX10 capable card these days so lets at least set the baseline there.
But yeah, totally looking forward to a DX11 exclusive engine.
