New 30 Seconds To Mars Single Debuts In Dragon Age
30 Seconds to Mars’ new album, “This Is War,” doesn’t hit stores until December 8, but you can get a sneak peak at the title track in Dragon Age: Origins.
It seems a rather bizarre place to debut a new song, but there you have it. The Jared Leto-fronted band’s “This Is War” is on the Dragon Age: Origins soundtrack and in the trailer below, co-produced by Leto himself.
“We always like to push the envelope in the entertainment and media space and debuting our title track in a game of this calibre is a great way to communicate our music to fans around the world,” said Jared Leto, lead singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars. “We’ve come a long way from having to rely solely on radio to approach and engage music fans, and Dragon Age: Origins is the perfect game to do this with.”
A rather nifty little tune from a band whose name I only recognise because they had a track in Rock Band, something that is happening with alarming regularity these days.
