No PC DLC For RE5, Says Capcom

10:00AM November 22, 2009 | Owen Good

Capcom’s announcement of a DLC bonanza on Wednesday conspicuously excluded PC versions and dates. That’s because the company doesn’t intend to release it for the PC. For now, anyway.

G4 spoke to a company rep who confirmed that lack of dates for PC versions was no accident. “No plans for PC at this point,” said Capcom. And that was that.

That means no costumes, no new episodes, no new Mercenaries multiplayer, zip. You want that, grab the console version, or wait for Capcom to change their minds, I guess.

Well. There’s no loss at all.

First all that drama about the $$$ DLC actually unlocking stuff already on the game, now this?

Remind me to be wary of Capcom PC products in the future.

Shame for PC users, but thank goodness I brought it on the 360! DLC will give me a whole new reason to pick the game up again. <3

I would have thought since it’s a Games for Windows Live title that DLC would be a no-brainer. It worked perfectly for Fallout 3, why would they not want to make some money off the five PC users that bought it.

I can’t believe all the console people thanking the heavens that they can be overcharged for mods and expansion packs.
