Can you guess this old game from just one screenshot?
I’ll update this post with the answer at 5pm today if no one has guessed before then. Or if you do guess it before then, feel free to share your memories of a classic game.
Good luck!
Thats Aliens on the SNES
Looks like Sigourney!
Awesome McAwesomepants in the alien ship of awesome?
Alien 3, actually.
I’m going to say Alien 3 on the SNES because I can’t remember there being any other Alien game on the SNES.
Also, it looks like Rippley is bald.
Alien 3 on the SNES by the looks of things?
It is Alien 3 – Megadrive version.
But doesn’t the colour scheme in that shot just make you think of Flashback?
Well done, Mr Cocks. It is indeed the Mega Drive version.
Oh snap. Although I don’t even remember A3 hitting the Megadrive as it is.
The SNES and MD versions have different gameplay don’t they? Does anyone remember?
Aliens
I think it’s Alien 3 on the SNES. Great game!
Just to clarify folks. It is not the SNES version of the game. That has a different UI (see SNES screenshot here – http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/cinerama/western/129/alien3snes4.gif.
It is the Megadrive/Genesis version in that shot as it is the only one with that specific UI.
:P
Alien 3 – That game scared the crap out of me as a kid. Awesome fun though
You’re all wrong, even the goose. That’s Super Hornio Brothers.
Never played or saw the game, but as soon as I saw it I thought of Geiger….so Alien/s was the guess.
OMG this is the first of these I’ve known (and I knew it was Mega Drive version too, because I had it).
I had the Master System version of this. It’s a really good game and it’s held up surprisingly well if you go back and give it a play again.
