Well, these two, for a start. Let’s find out why Bajo is telling Hex to talk to the hand on tonight’s episode.
This episode preview is brought to you by Good Game researcher and Sydney’s Most Eligible Bachelor (of Animal Husbandry), Jeremy Pencil.
With more Triple-A titles than you can shake a motion-sensing stick at, Bajo and Hex wave goodbye to sleep to bring you the very best the gaming world has to offer.
* We lament the loss of dedicated servers in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 before blowing up some chumps with our A130 gunship
* We bang a gong and get it on in Dragon Age: Origins with a review of suitably epic proportions
* We dust off the flux capacitor to pay a visit to Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time
* And we do the time warp again as New Super Mario Bros Wii brings us exactly the same experience as every other Mario Bros since the dawn of time – only betterPlus Rei talks to the world’s leading experts in DLC at the 2009 Digital Distribution Summit and asks “I CAN HAZ DIGITAL DOWNLOAD GAMES PLZ?”
Catch Good Game Monday nights on ABC2 @ 8:30pm, or late Friday nights on ABC1, just before rage.

Does this show still get presented every week like it’s the 90s and we don’t know what the dang ‘video games’ are?
And do they still pad out 30 minutes with 3 minutes of content?

Can’t wait for them to try and somehow turn NSMB Wii into a terrible game in their review. Oh wait no I won’t.

Despite me already owning Dragon Age, for some screwed up reason, I watch reviews for it anyway. It’s like I can’t get enough of it, I have to see it everywhere I go. I should nevertheless watch it for the Ratchet and Clank review though, I know it’s gotten pretty widespread critical acclaim but it won’t hurt to get one more review in before I buy it.

Yeah! Me Too! I thought I was the only one with this weird affliction of continuing to read reviews for a game I already own. Like I HAVE to know if my experience matches the reviewers. To be honest, at least you can read the review from a more educated standpoint, and sometimes it helps bring attention to something cool (or shit) about the game

I know right?
The ultimate sign of a really good game is when you not only love it, but it becomes important to you that EVERYONE ELSE LOVES IT TOO.

I actually do this frequently, it’s helped me find out what reviewers opinions reflect my own the closest. Then when I’m deciding whether to purchase a game or not, I’ll trust the reviews from those sources the most (for example, I’ve found that most of the Rock-Paper-Shotgun reviews tend to suit me best)

It’s not the Jungalist issue that killed this show for me.. it’s just the show in general… while i have enjoyed a couple of sements here and there, at the end of the day, it’s still tedious and stupid. I’d rather be gaming than listening to these tits talk about it…

Bajo still talks like a stereotypical Italian, waving his hands around while he speaks.
Hex still sounds like she doesn’t know what she’s talking about as she uses totally incorrect emphasis on certain words while reading off the teleprompter.
Rei still has the monotone voice.
All’s fair in love and war.
Report Permalinkloopy

@Rent, Good Game doesn’t have a teleprompter, so Hex can’t read off one.
@Stephan Kold-Labia, Jeremy is American, not English.

I only liked the show when Junglist was hosting, he showed a serious point of view of the game’s he reviewed and didn’t dick around. I can’t take Bajo and Hex seriously and only watched the first 5 minutes of the preimier of thier duo. If Junglist went out and done his own podcast or even a vidcast I’ll be into that, at least I’ll be getting a straight to the point view of the game’s.

To be fair is probably difficult not to have any spoilers for a game that has single player campaign that lasts for around ten minutes. Including load times
