The “Silent Night” Capture the Flag arena – described as “a slightly re-worked version of an arena from Team Arena called ‘Distant Screams’” – will get you a chance to settle your differences with rocket launchers, while everyone’s dressed in Santa suits or slightly sluttier Vixen reindeer get ups. Of course, the whole thing is free, in the Quake Live way, so if this is your first time trying out the web based game, there’s really no obligation. Play it or don’t. See if I care!

QuakeLive was fun…for a while. But there’s only a couple of really different game modes, and all the maps look the same. It’s just repetitive after a while. I know this is all we had back in Q3 days, but come on, this is 2009!

No one does the Christmas theme stuff better than Wow, i remember last year they just gave everyone free snowballs to throw at each other, added Christmas quests and gave you presents. It was awesome because you needed ten of this egg item to complete one of these quests, and the demand of this item went through the roof instantly, i sold all of mine for like 100 gold to someone.

I guess this and Battlefield Heroes survive mainly for people who have crappy computers? Both I can’t play anymore, they just seem dated and crappy.
