No surprises here… some Nintendo party games, Pokemon and a bunch of generic JRPGS that I’ve never heard of… don’t get me wrong, but Japan is (well, the majority of Japan is…) so behind the rest of the world in terms of games…

INB4 raaaaaage fest… it’s just my opinion on their games.

Just curious, how did you know they were generic JRPGs if you’ve never heard of them?
The only way I can think of is if you took every single name you didn’t recognise on this list and looked em up online.
Or, more likely, you actually have heard of them before.

Were they Really RPGS? That was a pretty damn good guess then :p

Pokemon is still unstoppable. What is the series total sales tally now anyway – i’m sure with a few more games in the coming years, its bound to overtake Mario.

Yeah, but don’t forget Mario releases tons of games as well. All the DS games, and the Olympics shovelware on the Wii/DS, plus I’d reckon another Mario Kart and Smash Bros Wii within the next few years, Mario’s still got a lot of purchasing power.

11 out of 30 games I’ve never heard of, and 2 of those were Gundam games. I swear, Gundam is way too popular in Japan…
