Ron Jeremy: Games A “Bigger Negative Influence” Than Porn

The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo is the other big show in Vegas this weekend. At a CES 2010 panel debate, porn pioneer Ron Jeremy took on an anti-porn activist and threw games under the bus to make a point.

Jeremy, who has the most improbable physique (not to mention amount of backhair) for a guy who’s nailed so many hot women, insisted that the porn industry doesn’t target or market to those under 18. Sounds familiar. “We don’t want kids to watch porn,” he said.

But if they see some titty or dong, hey, it could be worse, says the Hedgehog. They could be playing violent video games. “[Studies have]found that violent video games are much bigger a negative influence on kids,” he said, according to PC Magazine.

Such as Fairytale Fights? The M-rated tragedy for which Jeremy and a couple other pornstars filmed promotional videos?

Maybe in a whole-numbers sense Jeremy’s comment could be accurate, but I guess that would depend on violent video games being consumed by minors in numbers greater than porn. And honestly, I’m not too sure about that. So [citation needed] , Ron.

So barebacking some girl who has any number of STI’s in an uncomfortable place is ok…but pressing buttons and improving hand eye co-ordination is not.

I think I’ll take my advice from someone who’s brain isn’t destroyed by every drug under the sun.

Way to hit a stereotype with another one there Tommy.

Plus I’ll have you know porn taught me to be ambidextrous and improved my hand eye coordination, all that time spent using a mouse with my left hand.

I’m not saying that his opinion doesn’t matter, but perhaps ask someone who isn’t as biased as Ron?. I doubt these studies he is talking about are actually fair, if any adult asks a under 18 year old kid if pornography has ever had an influence on them more likely they will say no and say it was something else on the list, video games for example. I don’t think either really has much effect on someone.

You dont want kids to watch the porn you make, and I believe you, as its a bad marketing decesion, yet then want to completely illogically think that games devs do?

The average gamer is getting closer to forty, does he think devs are all perhaps one evil maniacal genius?

I think someone wants to get some of the spotlight off himself, and has shown himself to be a huge hypocrite.
This sort of talk, from a man who made a films in which he doggy styled girls with cakes on their backs..
KIDS LIKE CAKE! YOU EVIL ****!

I’d much rather beat up a hooker in GTA then watch any porn with this ugly prick in it.

Listen to the Ron. Super Hornio Bros was the best adaptation of a game to movie ever. I always thought him doing Sonic the hedgehog would have been perfect.

Richard Wilkins gives it 3 stars.
