The latest entry in the 2D King of Fighters series has been announced by Osaka-based game developer SNK Playmore. It is The King of Fighters XIII.
The arcade title runs on the Taito Taito X2 arcade system board. Details are scant, and SNK is expected to reveal more in a preview next month.
Hand-drawn title The King of Fighters XII was released in Japanese arcades in April 2009.

Let’s hope it’s an improvement, KOF XII sucked ass.

I wasn’t inpressed with the last game if it were hand drawn, then why not draw the characters so they look good in 1080p?
Instead the charachters a pixelated and stand out from the background, the filter they offer just bur everything.
