You’ve already seen the first trailer for the live action Tekken movie. Now how about some stills to pick over, perfect for studying just how literal the adaptation of Namco Bandai’s fighter will be.
The Dwight Little directed beat ‘em up cinematic tour de force looks less adapted than it does copied and pasted onto film, with the on screen Iron Fist tournament featuring plenty of shirtless dudes and girls in skimpy outfits. What else do you really want from a Tekken flick? Plot?

Seriously, they removed every single interesting story of every character in Tekken and chose to make another fucking generic fighting movie.
This is a franchise with a boxing kangaroo, an enchanted wooden man, a martial arts panda and a toxic farting dinosaur, and they throw in some fucking half assed love story and completely mangle Jins already convoluted backstory?
No thanks.

We need pure martial art action, less string attached and follow the exact Tekken Storyline.

I don’t think he was asking that they hire ‘real actors’ but rather actors that look more like their game counter-parts. You don’t need any talent to look like someone.
