Three Original Command & Conquer Games Are Now Free

And the weekend parade of free stuff keeps marching on. PC gamers can now get all three original Command & Conquer games free through the official website. The freebies are a promotion for the release of Command & Conquer 4 next month.

The free games include Command & Conquer, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun with Firestorm and Command & Conquer: Red Alert.

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, promising “the epic conclusion to the Tiberium Saga,” is due out March 16.

Too bad they didnt do anything about the installers so 64bit OS owners can play them.. Have to redownload these using a pre-hacked version now for my dad, he loves these games and has been dying to play RA for ages.

This is pretty awesome, but where are the expansions for C&C and Red Alert. Stoked nonetheless Tiberian Sun is probably my favourite of all the C&C/Red Alert games.

Blizzard should follow suit and release Warcraft 1/2 as freeware.
