“We’re going to put some serious effort into it – pretty quick – getting ‘Torchlight’ onto consoles,” Max Schaefer, CEO of Runic games says.”There’s a lot of really cool things about the console world, too, that would work well with our game.”
Cool things like, oh, how easy it would be to port the game to a system that has a pointing device?

Bring it to consoles would be incredible. Especially with co-op. That would be awesome!
Three player co-op!

Monday, March 15, 2010 at 12:53 AMI have to agree that I’d prefer a 2 analog stick setup, and multiplayer would be great but that’s a big addition and I wouldn’t expect it.
My only thought is how they will make use of the skill bar. I mean I usually played with about 6 or 7 spells hotkeyed, getting that many controls on a controller, as well as things like inventory management is gonna be tough.
