Nerd hero and cat-butt-sniffer Shoko Nakagawa belted out a the ending theme for the televised Pokémon. Sadly, her song has been replaced. But is the new song better?
Nakagawa’s tune, “Get Fired Up Notch-Eared Pichu”, is catchy and fun. She also voices Giza Mimi Pichu (“Notch-Eared Pichu”). Watch her as she sings the song on kids’ show Pokémon Sunday. Check out those dance moves!
The new song is “Which One ~ Is It?” and rattles off the names of Pocket Monsters that sound similar. It’s a silly song, sung by MooMoo Milk and Araki-san. There’s a dance for it and everything.

Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:57 AMSome Japanese shows have really awesome opening and ending themes – like Gundam 00. And some of them have abyssal, horrific noises – like Pokémon.
