Aussie Nintendo Store: Three Out Of Ten

Another update hits the Nintendo consoles this week with a paltry three titles hitting the shops.

Virtual Console first, as we get another Mega Man title – this time it’s the NES classic Mega Man 4. This one allows you to charge your shots and, like all Mega Man games, is also frustratingly hard.

DSiWare gets the “bulk” of the releases again this week, ranging in quality but you may be interested in something. First up is Mr. Driller: Drill Till You Drop for 500 Points. This one was released over a year ago in Japan and has taken its sweet time getting here. For the money, you get 40 stages across three different game modes. There’s even a DSi-exclusive mode called Dristone.

The second has been seen on the DS before as a retail release so be warned, you may have played or bought it before (probably not though). Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs sounds good, I mean, fighting dinosaurs is awesome, just not here though. It’s a cut-down version of the retail DS game released prevously.

So that’s three games instead of the ten the Europeans get. Nice.

Virtual Console
Mega Man 4 (NES, Capcom – 500 Points)

DSiWare
Mr. Driller: Drill Till You Drop (Namco Bandai – 500 Points)
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs – Fight for Survival (Ubisoft – 800 Points)
