All this week EB Games is raising money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation in its efforts to help seriously ill and hospitalised kids around Australia. Here’s how you can lend a hand.
All you have to do is go to any EB store or the EB website and make a donation of $5, trade in some old games or a console, or purchase selected products. Not only will you be giving money to a worthy charity, but you’ll also be entered into a draw to win over $80,000 worth of prizes.
Says EB, “Some of the prizes being given away include an action packed Gold Coast family holiday, a weekend in a luxury BMW, Samsung TV and phone, the ultimate Warner Bros game and Blu-ray library, a year’s worth of Domino’s pizza, 90 double passes to the A-Team movie, 8000 Game Informer magazines as well as loads of games and consoles including a new DS XL, Wii and XBOX 360 consoles.”
Now in its third year, the EB Games Starlight Week last year raised over $300,000 for the foundation.
Starlight’s Alison Dart says, “Without [EB’s]extraordinary support, we would struggle to be able to continue to deliver the wonderful, uplifting programs that brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children around the country.”
