Atlus seems to think it needs more marketing for the PSP version of Persona 3 than simply telling people it’s Persona 3, in your hand. Here’s the full trailer for Persona 3 Portable.
I hereby resolve never to refer to this game as P3P, even ironically. You can’t force your silly acronyms on me, marketing team! I’m on to your little tricks.
That having been said, if you make a PSP version of Persona 4, I will enthusiastically refer to it as P4P, pronounced “Forp”.
And seriously, it’s Persona 3, one of the best role-playing games of the past decade, with the addition of a female protagonist. And it’s portable. Just put that on a piece of paper and tack them up on telephone poles or something.
Persona 3 Portable is due out for the PSP on July 6.

Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 11:26 PM*sigh* I bought Persona 3 when it first came out. Atlus had no intentions of bringing P3:FES out here. Then P3:FES came out. I’m still trying to get that. If it weren’t for the extra playable character, I wouldn’t care.
Stop remaking it dammit. I don’t have enough money as it is!
