At a Tokyo investors meeting, Square Enix president Yoichi “Imperial Hot” Wada stated that the company was “looking into” bringing PS3 exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII to the Xbox 360.
As previously posted, publisher may consider a multi-platform release. But there’s some “looking into it” to be done, so don’t expect an announcement of that sort until closer to the game’s next major unveiling. It was previously stated that the title would be “PS3 only worldwide“.
In the wake of the commotion that Hot’s comments caused earlier, he has now clarified his previous statements via…Twitter: “It seems the internet is getting excited. Versus on the Xbox? What was said at the investors meeting was only that until the official announcement is made everything about all titles is pending.”
Meaning? Nothing matters until it’s official. So wait until the company officially states Final Fantasy Versus XII as a multi-platform before getting your Xbox 360 ready for the title.

Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 1:54 PMI really hope that it does go Multi-platform. When i have the choice ill always play games on the 360 over the ps3 just because i really hate the PS3 controller, it just feels awkward and uncomfortable to me. Plus the PS3 interface is absolutely horrible.

I also hope for the game to go multi-platform. The PS3 is still too expensive for me and I’m pretty sure Versus XIII will be $120, no… $130 when it comes out.
