The Metal Gear Solid… Walkman

The portable cassette player may be long gone, but Sony’s Walkman brand lives on, in both phones and MP3 players. Like this one, the “W252″, which should really have been called “The Metal Gear Solid One”.

Released in conjunction with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP, the W252 is a wrap-around MP3 player with camouflage design, Metal Gear branding, six songs from the game bundled on its 2GB drive and a code to unlock in-game characters.

It’ll be out in June.
