What were our favourite games of E3 this year? Let’s take a look!
The biggest, the best games of the year, sometimes of next year, are shown off each year in Los Angeles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
This year we decided to come up with a list of the games that we here at Kotaku thought were among the best at the show.
Keep in mind these are awards based on glimpses, fleeting moments with incomplete games. Things can change between now and when a game actually hits stores, that’s why we do a year end Game of the Year awards as well. The annual Goaties are awards, as Totilo so succinctly puts it, based on investigation.
To select these winners I had all of Kotaku’s attending writers pick their three favourite games from among the nominees and rank them. Their first choice was awarded three points, second was awarded two and third choice was awarded one. Then I went back and tallied the vote.
So here you go, the closest thing you’re going to get to Kotaku’s groupthink on the best games of E3.

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 9:07 AMI stopped reading at best new game… come on Kotaku. Look at that footage, if I wanted to do anything remotely like that I would chuck a leotard on and head down to the local gym for some aerobics.

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 9:44 AMSad part is they are probably right, it’s probably not a bad game, but there probably wasn’t anything NEW that was better. I assuming the list is limited to titles announced at this E3.
I can’t really think of anything NEW I was keen on, I did enjoy more info regarding games I already knew were coming.
Maybe a Best Overall Game category?

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 4:21 PMI watched and couldn’t help but wonder why all those apparently amazing marksmen (unseen) with the bows didn’t just shoot the guy. I mean you’re an assassin right? Not Michael Bay…
