Lord Of The Rings Online Goes Free

Starting this spring Turbine’s Lord of the Rings Online will be free to play. The game will make its money by selling thousands of “convenience” items as well as expansion packs, premium content, additional character slots, potions and character customisation. Beta kicks off on June 16.

      Oh no, not sweet. They’re the same ones that do DDO, which is ‘free’, and I didn’t really like the way they grabbed for cash in that game.

    that idea is going to save the MMO like it did with DDO since DDO is makeing more money since they went free to play
