Aussie Nintendo Store: Flying High

This week’s update has something for each console, and by something we mean one thing. Well, the Wii has two but one is a Virtual Console title, the other a WiiWare game. The Classification Board trouble strikes again?

WiiWare

Arcade Sports Air Hockey, Bowling, Pool, Snooker (Icon Games, 800 Points) – If there was ever a game I didn’t need to tell you about it’s this one. There is nothing that stands out too much out about this one, but at least they’re not charging full retail price for it like some games out there.

Virtual Console

Aero the Acrobat (Sunsoft, SNES, 800 Points) – The Sunsoft classic is bringing the retro back to the Wii. Madman Edgar Ektor has seized control of the World of Amusement and the only hope to save it is the high flying Aero the Acrobat. A fairly decent platformer from Sunsoft, anyone an Aero fan from way back?

DSiWare

Crazy Pinball (dtp entertainment, 500 Points) – This game is crazy! Oh it’s in the title. Well then it will come to no surprise to you then. There are 5 tables to pin the old balls around. No idea at all if this is any good.

We miss out on Girlfriends Forever: Magic Skate (WiiWare), Pop Island – Paperfield (DSiWare) and World Poker Tour: Texas Hold ‘Em also for DSiWare. Anyone picking up Aero the Acrobat? If you missed last week’s update you might want to check out 3D Space Tank, having played it for a week it’s pretty great, but you wouldn’t expect anything less from Q-Games.
