Things don’t look too steep from where I’m standing. My PC sits around the “recommended specs” level of things and during the beta it ran like wildfire & gravy, so those sitting on or around the minimum specs, don’t worry, you should still be playing a good-looking game.
The game will be out on July 27, but if you feel like torturing yourself, you can download it now and save yourself a delay on the night.
Minimum System Requirements*:
PC: Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 (Latest Service Packs) with DirectX 9.0c
2.6 GHz Pentium IV or equivalent AMD Athlon processor
128 MB PCIe NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT or ATI Radeon 9800 PRO video card or better
Mac: Mac OS X 10.5.8, 10.6.2 or newer
Intel Processor
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT or ATI Radeon X1600 or better

1 GB RAM (1.5 GB required for Windows Vista/Windows 7 users, 2 GB for Mac users)
DVD-ROM drive
Broadband Internet connection
1024X720 minimum display resolution
*Note: Due to potential programming changes, the Minimum System Requirements for this game may change over time.
Recommended Specifications:

Friday, July 16, 2010 at 2:56 PMWhat’s with the post-bashing?
Some people are genuinely interested in other peoples computer specs, and some people just like to share.
If you don’t like it, don’t post about it. Simple as that.

Friday, July 16, 2010 at 2:55 PMLaptops generally aren’t the greatest for gaming. My laptop, however, is a beast. It clears the recommended specs by a respectable amount :P
Then there’s the even beastier home PC.
I love being the family tech expert. ‘Yes, Dad, we do need a 1Gb graphics card…’

Friday, July 16, 2010 at 3:03 PMYeh unfortunately mine is 3 years old and i can’t afford a new one, plus on top of that we simply don’t have the space for a desktop PC in our one bedroom unit :(
Thankfully the laptop i bought was one of the best in it’s days so it still holds up fairly well with a lot of newish games.
oh well – one day i’ll make a PC gaming comeback lol

Friday, July 16, 2010 at 3:29 PMLove those recommended specs – I’m only running an 8800GT and I’ve had no issues at 1920×1200 with everything set to high. Though I am running a 6600 quad core OC’ed to 3 GHz which I’m sure is helping just a bit.
The big up side is anyone with a PC younger than 3 years should be able to play this with no issues.

Friday, July 16, 2010 at 8:55 PMTake pride in your rig spec pimping. There are few of us enthusiasts left.
I post this from my loungeroom HTPC consisting of a q6600 with 4gb of ram and an 8800GT built out of my spare parts pile.

Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:30 PMI have no idea how my m11x compares with those specs. U7300 at 1.73GHz, 8GB RAM, GeForce GT335M (472MB).
And the DVD drive spec! Can I install it over a network, bc the laptop doesn’t have an optical drive. Not that it should need one, since the game requires online activation anyway.
Will it work?
